Arts All Over The Place is a vibrant community and social cohesion organisation established in 2007, dedicated to providing engaging arts projects, exhibitions, and events for Birmingham adults facing mental health challenges.
Celebrating Creativity
Our diverse range of programs and events are designed to spark creativity, promote emotional well-being, and encourage personal growth.
Through art, we aim to break down barriers, reduce stigma, and create opportunities for individuals to express themselves freely, fostering a community that values and celebrates artistic diversity.
Mission
The main aim of Arts All Over the Place is to encourage participation and promotion of the arts in mental health recovery and self-care.
Our mission is to facilitate creativity, inspire imagination, and support mental health recovery through the power of arts. By offering a safe space for individuals to explore their creativity, we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and empowerment within the community.
Through various artistic activities, we host supportive and inclusive environments that encourages self-expression, and personal growth.

To do this we hold an annual arts and health festival, as well as other exciting and creative events, this is all dependent on funding. We do this by:
01
Raising awareness of the creativity of people with mental health experience across The West Midlands.
02
Ensuring that Arts All Over The Place is user centered and accessible to people at all stages of their mental health and recovery.
03
Reducing stigma by holding as many events as possible in venues where anyone (including the general public) can join in.
04
Striving to overcome disadvantage experienced by people with disabilities, people facing discrimination on grounds of ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender and religious beliefs.
05
Demonstrating and showcasing the therapeutic benefits of all the creative arts through a range of artistic mediums.
06
Encouraging participants to develop their skills and ideas by making sure that at least one piece of work will be exhibited by each participant at our annual Festival.
